A priest offered a nun a lift

The first joke doesn’t just flirt with scandal—it weaponizes misunderstanding. A priest, a nun, a single exposed leg, and one cryptic line: “Father, remember Psalm 129?” Every time he loses focus, she repeats it. Only later does he read the verse and realize, too late, what he thinks she really meant. The ride is over. The chance is gone.

But the real punchline comes when the priest finally looks up Psalm 129 and discovers that the reference makes absolutely no sense in the way he imagined. Confused, he checks the Bible again, convinced he must have missed something.

That is when the nun calmly explains that she never meant anything improper at all. She had simply been trying to remind him of a completely different passage—and his guilty imagination had done the rest.

The priest stands there speechless, realizing that the entire scandal existed only inside his own head.

The nun smiles and says, “Father, perhaps next time you should read the verse before drawing your conclusions.”

And just like that, the joke flips completely: what looked like temptation was really a lesson about assumptions, embarrassment, and how quickly the mind can turn an innocent moment into something it was never meant to be.
