Halloween night in New York brought a rare family moment at Heidi Klum’s 25th annual party, where her three children appeared together in completely different costumes, while another well-known family shared its own coordinated photograph from the October 31 celebrations.
The three siblings picked strikingly different looks — one as Miss Piggy, one as the superhero Starfire, and one as a zombie — and their contrasting outfits got people online debating the family resemblance. They also posed with their mother, making their joint appearance one of the evening’s memorable family moments.
Meanwhile, Vice President JD Vance and his wife Usha shared a family photograph built around the world of Harry Potter, with him dressed as Albus Dumbledore and her as the Sorting Hat, while their children appeared as Harry Potter, Dobby, a dragon and other magical creatures. Other celebrities joined the night’s parade of transformations too, from a recreation of a famous 2001 awards performance complete with a python, to a tribute look inspired by a country music legend.
But the evening’s most elaborate transformation belonged to the host herself. Klum arrived dressed as an enormous severed hand, complete with realistic veins, oversized red nails and copies of her own jewellery, with her husband’s name appearing as a tattoo detail on the ring finger — he could not attend because he was on tour. The idea had been in the works since 2025 and took around five to six hours to put on, adding another chapter to a 25-year run of costumes that has included a giant earthworm, a peacock and Medusa.
