Jesse Adams, a Canadian-born animal rescuer and founder of the RainCoast Dog Rescue Society, dedicated his life to helping innocent animals caught in the middle of war and disaster. According to Animal Rescue Kharkiv, Adams was taking part in an animal rescue operation when an enemy first-person-view (FPV) drone struck the vehicle he was traveling in. The vehicle had just been loaded with animals rescued from a dangerous area.
In an instant, a mission of hope turned into a devastating tragedy.
Adams suffered severe injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital, where medical professionals fought desperately to save him. Sadly, despite their best efforts, he did not survive.
