The couple married in September 2014 and welcomed twins, Alexander and Ella, in 2017. While George is one of Hollywood’s biggest stars, Amal has continued her work as a respected human rights lawyer, and she has made it clear how much her husband supports her ambitions.
Speaking to TIME for its 2022 Women of the Year issue, Amal opened up about their relationship, saying:
“Marriage has been wonderful,” she told the publication.
She went on to share: “I have in my husband a partner who is incredibly inspirational and supportive, and we have a home filled with love and laughter. It is a joy beyond anything I could ever have imagined. I feel so lucky to have found a great love in my life, and to be a mother.”
