Women middle age does not just revolve around changes in the individual. It is also about handling the daily struggles in the society that may simultaneously be exhausting and humorous. It is the expectation that many women at this stage are supposed to get everything right. They handle home, family and in most cases work, and there is more expected of them by people around them. This burden is a day to day problem that anyone who is a woman can relate to. A middle-aged lady is not vocal in doing so many things that are not always realized.
Middle Age Struggles
Her work becomes ordinary and unsurprising to people. This may seem unjust, yet eventually it is something she starts laughing at. She knows that she is doing more than what people imagine though one may not utter it. She is supposed to nurture children, maintain a family and at times even take care of the elder members of the family. Meanwhile, she could also be having her own ambitions and requirements. Attempting to control everything may be daunting. It is usually a humorous scenario in that she is so busy throughout the day and ends up having a feeling that something is not done.
Even at middle age, women are expected to appear in a particular manner in the society. This puts her in a dilemma of wanting to be cozy and at the same time needing to appear presentable. Some days she cares about it, and other days she simply does not. This combination of thoughts is a silent and sympathetic battle. The other actual problem is the lack of being heard. A middle-aged woman can feel that her views are not considered or taken seriously in most of the situations. It is aggravating, though there are times when she copes with it by remaining composed or even smiling at the circumstance.

She is expected to be constantly available to the society. She can even feel guilty when she takes rest or concentrates on herself. This poses a comical, yet realistic dilemma that she intends to unwind, but instead works harder. It is a trend that is familiar to most women. One more of life problems is the problem of changing roles. Her role in the family is also altered as the children become older and their lives change. She is no more required as before, yet required to be there. It is incomprehensible, yet something she gradually realizes.

Lots of the rules concerning the behavior of a woman at this age are unspoken. She should be composed, accountable, and never judgmental. This may be cumbersome, as well as when she has feelings of her own to take care of. Nevertheless, she knows how to cope with it, and she usually does it with silent power. After all, the struggles that middle-aged women are going through in society are real and can be relatable. As time goes, most of these struggles become those that cause a realization and even some laughter.
